Zantasia Johnson (she/her/hers) joined the OPAL team in June 2021 as a Program Coordinator for Community and Leadership Development and became an Assistant Director in July 2023. Within OPAL, Zantasia supports the Black and Pan African student community.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Zantasia holds a BA in English from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and a M.Ed from Texas Tech University. Zantasia is a first-generation college student who was raised by a single mother. Zantasia's experience in Student Affairs includes serving as a Graduate Hall Coordinator, completing an ACUHO-I internship at Purdue Northwest University, and working in the Campus Activities and Student Engagement office at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Zantasia loves connecting with others about shared interest, traveling, listening to music, crafting, finding new restaurants and exploring coffee shops.
