Queer & Sacred: Exploring the Intersections of Identity, Faith, & Belonging
Tuesday, October 20th from 6-7:30pm
Triangle House
Hosted by Triangle House, the Tucker Center, & OPAL
Queerness and religion are often framed as being in conflict-but lived experiences are far more complex. For many LGBTQIA+ people, faith and spirituality can be sources of identity, culture, belonging, and liberation. For others, religion may bring experiences of exclusion, questioning, or redefining their relationship with faith. What does it mean to hold identities others may see as incompatible? Where do we find belonging? And how can our communities make space for complexity? Join us for food and conversation with the Tucker Center exploring the intersections of queerness, religion, spirituality, and belonging.

Lights up on Rock Springs, Wyoming—a dusty boomtown in one of the country's most conservative states—where 25-year-old Kenny Starling has done something audacious: opened the first drag and queer theater company in town. Their debut show? A shadow cast of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Kenny's mission: to bring queer visibility, joy and acceptance to the high desert plains of Wyoming.
Director Allison Berg captures the fledgling Starling Company's diverse troupe of thespians as they mount their inaugural production. From exhausting rehearsals to thrift store costume hunts, the film immerses us in the lives of its vibrant cast, revealing both the exhilaration of performance and the realities of navigating life as queer artists in America.
Celebrating 50 years of cult fandom, The Rocky Horror Picture Show's spirit of rebellion and self-actualization feels more vital than ever. In a time marked by division and uncertainty, Time Warp celebrates the resilience, artistry and joy of queer communities.

Honoring Transgender Day of Remembrance 2026
Wednesday, November 4th
All day trans flag display on Dartmouth Hall Lawn
Community Gathering at 6:30pm (RSVP for Location)
This year marks the 27th annual Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR). Founded formally in 1999 by Gwendolyn Ann Smith in honor of Rita Hester, a transgender woman who was murdered in Allston, Massachusetts, this day is dedicated to the transgender people whose lives have been lost due to transphobia and anti-trans violence.
As the actual TDOR (November 20th) falls outside the term, we will host a flag display and community gathering on Wednesday, November 4th to honor and recognize those lost and increase awareness while respecting the needs of students at the end of the term.
RSVP for location of community gathering at dartgo.org/qsa
The HOP Presents: Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma
Friday, November 6th, 7pm
Loew Auditorium
Hosted by the Hopkins Center for the Arts
OPAL is sponsoring 10 free tickets to this film screening! Request a free ticket at dartgo.org/qsa
After years of slapdash sequels and waning fandom, the Camp Miasma slasher franchise is handed over to an enthusiastic young director (Hannah Einbinder) for resurrection. But when she visits the original's star (Gillian Anderson), a now-reclusive actress shrouded in mystery, the two women fall into a blood-soaked world of desire, fear and delirium.
Director Jane Schoenbrun (I Saw the TV Glow) knows every rule of the genre—and gleefully breaks them. In addition to Schoenbrun behind the camera, the film features memorable supporting turns from trans artists like Louise Weard (Castration Movie) and Avalon Fast (Camp).
